I have worked with people just like you who are feeling worn out, stressed out and in some cases are unable to function as normal due to physical and emotional exhaustion. People often come to me feeling lost and stuck, not understanding why they feel as bad as they do or how to make it better. Sometimes they have struggled with unexplained fatigue, anxiety and low mood for years, wondering if they will ever feel “normal” again.

My mission is to help you rebuild your emotional and physical energy, so that you can live your life instead of being ruled by fatigue and overwhelm. We will do this together in my signature 1:1 programme Rebuild Resilience. I will be there to give you a clear plan of action to tackle your exhaustion and overwhelm naturally, and to support you at what I know can be a vulnerable time.

IT’S CRUCIAL TO RECOGNISE THAT BURNOUT IS NOT A PERSONAL FAILURE

THE OLD WAY

to manage stress induced exhaustion and burnout

The traditional approach for recovery from exhaustion and burnout centres around resting. Whilst this is hugely important, it is only part of the picture. Temporarily prioritising rest and self care leaves you none the wiser as to how you came to be burnt-out in the first place; once normal life resumes exhaustion can creep back in.

Traditional approaches may also include the use of antidepressant drugs. In cases where anxiety and/or depression are a part of the burnout picture, these can be a helpful lifeline. However, drug led approaches are only effective about 50% of the time, and are far less likely to be effective if the root cause(s) have not been addressed.

My approach goes beyond temporary relief and addresses the whole picture rather than focusing on rest alone. As burnout is generally the result of a build up of stressors, my approach targets the root cause of burnout by supporting your body’s stress handling system (nervous system).

It is not enough to to focus on food alone, so my approach is broad; it consists of ensuring that your body has the ability to to digest and absorb nutrients (this ability if often reduced due to stress), and that nutrient needs are met (very important for energy, mood and optimal nervous system function). It also considers lifestyle factors such as sleep, stress management, light environment and mindset. By doing so, my approach lays the foundations for true lasting energy and resilience.

FAQ'S

  • How long does it take to complete Rebuild Resilience?
    Rebuild Resilience is designed to be completed over 16 weeks.
  • Can you guarantee I will fell better after completing Rebuild Resilience?
    I wish I could but in the interest of full transparency, just as it can take time to get to the point of feeling burnt out, it can also take time to recover. Depending on where you are, recovery may take longer than 4 months. What I can say is, no matter where you are now, Rebuild Resilience is designed to give you the foundations you need to overcome physical and emotional exhaustion, and that clients usually see improvements in their energy, mood, sleep and resilience to stress and life in general.
  • Can Rebuild Resilience help if I want to prevent burnout?
    Yes, when it comes to burnout, prevention is better than having to recover from full blown burnout. Rebuild Resilience will provide you with the nutrition, lifestyle and mindset tools needed to build physical and emotional resilience and prevent burnout.
  • Are there any additional costs?
    Depending on circumstances, additional costs may include functional testing and supplement recommendations but I will always try and consider budget constraints and will only recommend these when necessary.
  • Do you offer a payment plan?
    Yes, I offer payment plans, please contact me to discuss.
  • I don’t think I am Burnt-out but I am fatigued, can Rebuild Resilience help me?
    Although Rebuild Resilience may help if stress is a part of your fatigue picture, there can be many possible factors contributing to fatigue and it is important to identify the root cause/s when addressing fatigue. For this reason, one of my 6-week, 12-week or 6 month programmes may be more appropriate. I am passionate about helping clients to overcome fatigue so please get in contact to discuss.
  • Can Rebuild Resilience help with CFS/ME recovery?
    Rebuild Resilience is designed to help support and build resilience and capacity in the nervous system. For this reason, it may help to support CFS/ME (there is often an element of nervous system dysregulation involved in CFS/ME). However, CFS/ME is complex and there are often a number of factors to consider; it is really important to uncover and address underlying root causes. My 12-week or 6-month programme may be more appropriate when it comes to identifying and addressing root causes. I am passionate about helping clients with energy limiting conditions and have experience dealing with CFS/ME, so please get in touch to discuss how I can help you.
